This Conservatory Veranda extension is a very recent innovation which helps blur the boundry between your home, patio and garden. A fantastic way to extend your alfresco living space in the summer whilst creating a comfortable, energy efficient room in less clement weather.
  • Our Veranda conservatories are available in a standard range of colour options as well as several wood effect finishes:

    • White woodgrain
    • Rosewood
    • Mahogany
    • Antique oak
    • Irish oak
    • Chartwell green
    • Green
    • Black
    • Light grey
    • Slate grey
    • Cream
    • Standard white

Some options can be mixed inside and out and all options are available with standard white inside.

As well as the colours above we can provide a conservatory in any standard RAL colour.

  • Our conservatories are manufactured using three materials:

    • PVC-u
    • Aluminium
    • Hardwood

In terms of cost PVC-u is the least expensive followed by aluminium with hardwood generally being the more expensive option.

Before deciding absolutely on which material you choose for your conservatory it is worth looking at some of the timber look-alike features available in PVC-u.

  • This question can relate to a few different aspects of the roof. A conservatory can either have a translucent roof (glass or polycarbonate) or a solid roof (tiles or another form of roofing material).

In terms of cost polycarbonate will normally be the most cost effective with glass or some sort of tiled or other roofing material being of a similar cost.

Apart from cost, the type of roof material you choose should depend on several factors including which way the proposed conservatory faces in relation to the sun. The proposed use of the room should also be a deciding factor. Our design consultant will be pleased to offer you more advice.

  • The advanced coating reflects heat back into the room, meaning less energy is needed to heat the home to
    the desired temperature.

  • The thermal insulation provided by low-e double glazing is three times more efficient than that of standard double glazing. PLANITHERM products are the ideal low-e solution to meeting and exceeding the newly revised Building Regulations energy efficiency requirements.

PLANITHERM products use a special coating to reflect heat from domestic heat sources back into the room rather than allowing it to escape through the windows. At the same time this coating allows free heat and light from the sun to pass through the glass warming the room and further contributing to the energy efficiency of the windows, this helps to reduce your energy bills.

HIGH EFFICIENCY, FOIL BACKED FLOOR & WALL INSULATION WILL HELP ENSURE YOUR
CONSERVATORY IS ENERGY EFFICIENT AND COMFORTABLE ALL YEAR AROUND

INSULATION

The type of insulation used in the floor and walls of a conservatory is every bit as important as the glass technology.

By super insulating every part of a conservatory it can be built to be easy to heat and keep warm in winter and stay cool in summer.

  • There is a choice of roof design that allow the roof fall to run away from the house wall or a reverse fall back to a box gutter arrangement at the house wall. The main Veranda beam is manufactured from powder coated aluminium and acts as an integral gutter and support beam. Oak posts are supplied for structural support to the front of the overhang roof.

A new concept in conservatory roof blinds now available: Shades are a contemporary means of creating privacy whilst enhancing your comfort and increasing your enjoyment of your new conservatory during those long hot summer days by providing shade from direct sunlight. Shades will create soft dappled light and the extensive range of fabrics and natural wood finishes will complement your internal décor.
